The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw South Brunswick's lacrosse team overcome New Hanover by a margin of 9-2.

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle enter the Mideastern challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Ashley edged Laney (Wilmington, NC), 12-8, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the Mideastern challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Topsail edged Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 16-1, in a league challenge.
