In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Vance Charter Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Northern Durham Knights.
The Knights now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a non-league test on Thursday, March 21. Vance Charter will face a Bears squad coming off a 19-7 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
In their next game, the Knights face the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 21. Northern Durham will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Imps come into the test with a 2-7 record after their 16-0 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).
