The Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) softball routed the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 30-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Franklin notched a victory over Pisgah (Canton, NC), 13-4, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a Smoky Mountain 1A bout on Friday, March 22. Andrews will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
