The Hiwassee Dam Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Andrews Wildcats to 0 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee for a Smoky Mountain 1A battle on Tuesday, April 23. Hiwassee Dam will confront a Braves team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Braves record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Andrews moves to 0-9 on the season. The Wildcats host Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 9-8. Copper Basin won 11-3 in their recent non-league battle against Polk County (Benton, TN)
