The Ysleta Indians softball team scored 24 runs and held the host Austin Panthers to 3 in the Indians league win on Wednesday.

The Indians now possess a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a 4A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, March 21. Ysleta will confront a Rangers team coming off a 13-4 non-league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Austin moves to 7-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Bowie (El Paso, TX) to confront the Bears in a 4A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, March 21. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 9-6. Bowie won 24-2 in their recent league battle against Irvin (El Paso, TX)
