Georgia High School Baseball - Screven County loses to Jefferson County

March 2, 2023: Sylvania, GA 30467

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Jefferson County Warriors baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Screven County Gamecocks.

The Warriors (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Hephzibah by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 17-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Screven County falls to 3-7 on the season. The Gamecocks travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Southeast Bulloch lost 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA)
