The Broadneck Bruins tipped the host South River Seahawks basketball team by a final score of 49-43 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Bruins face the Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 4. Broadneck will attempt to move on its 17-5 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 14-6 record after their 72-47 non-league win over Urbana (Ijamsville, MD).
With the defeat, South River moves to 15-6 on the year.
