The Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) basketball felled the visiting Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD), 60-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Kernels (20-1) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Jefferson thwarted Stevens (Rapid City, SD), 63-59, in a non-league test.
The Bucks/Gazelles now own a 3-18 record.
