In Monday's league test, the host Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies lacrosse squad scored a good 11-3 victory over the Buckeye Valley Barons.
The Johnnies now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westerville North for a non-league test on Thursday, March 23. Johnstown-Monroe will face a Warriors squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Barons face the Canal Winchester Indians (Canal Winchester, OH) in a Region 7 test, on Wednesday, March 22. Buckeye Valley will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
