The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) and the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), saw Gray's Creek's soccer squad triumph over Seventy-First by a count of 8-0.
The Bears now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lumberton for a United Eight 3A/4A test on Thursday, March 21. Gray's Creek will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 0-0 league South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Seventy-First drops to 1-5 on the season. The Falcons host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to meet the Buccaneers in a United Eight 3A/4A test on Friday, March 22. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 4-3. Jack Britt won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)
