Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates face the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 22. Porter Ridge will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC).

The Wolf Pack now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anson for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, March 21. Parkwood will face a Bearcats team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-3.
