Georgia High School Lacrosse - Effingham County can't get by South Effingham

In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting South Effingham Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Effingham County Rebels.
The Mustangs now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenbrier for a 5A-6A Area 7 test on Friday, March 22. South Effingham will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 8-2.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 21. Effingham County will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Sharks come into the test with a 0-9 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
