The Floyd County Buffaloes softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Grayson County Blue Devils to 4 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Floyd County moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Liberty (Bedford, VA) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league game on Friday, March 22. The Minutemen come into the game with a record of 2-3. Liberty lost 19-2 in their recent non-league game against Staunton River (Moneta, VA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Friday, March 22. Grayson County will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Northwood (Saltville, VA).
