Florida High School Softball - Parrish Community Venice

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Venice Indians (Venice, FL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Parrish Community Bulls (Parrish, FL), by a margin of 7-1.

With the triumph, Venice moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Indians host Sarasota (Sarasota, FL) to play the Sailors in a 7A District 8 contest on Friday, March 22. The Sailors come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Sarasota won 15-1 in their recent league contest against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL)

In their next game, the Bulls play the Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars (Tampa, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 22. Parrish Community will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Sickles (Tampa, FL).
