North Carolina High School Baseball - Mitchell loses to Patton

March 20, 2025: Bakersville, NC 28705

In Thursday's non-league bout, the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) baseball squad the host Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), by a tally of 7-3.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) in a Mountain Foothills 7 1A/2A bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Patton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC).

The Mountaineers (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers enter the Western Highlands 1A/2A bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Rosman was overwhelmed by Mitchell (Bakersville, NC), 17-2, in a league bout.
