The Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) basketball were winner over the visiting Huron Tigers (Huron, SD), 50-41 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Kernels now possess a 19-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league bout on Friday, March 21. Mitchell will play a Patriots team coming off a 55-33 non-league win over Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 21-1.
