In Thursday's non-league test, the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), by a tally of 18-12.
Next, the Saxons clash with the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Ferris will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 20-4 non-league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA).
The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Cheney was routed by Mead (Spokane, WA), 21-7, in a non-league test.
