The Ferris Saxons overwhelmed the host Central Valley Bears softball squad by a count of 28-16 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Saxons meet the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 18. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 18-3 non-league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA).

The Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Cheney was routed by Mead (Spokane, WA), 21-1, in a non-league challenge.
