The Lakeside Panthers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Effingham County Rebels to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host South Aiken for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 22. Lakeside will play a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Effingham County moves to 2-9 on the year. The Rebels host Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 25. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Savannah Christian 1-1 in their recent league bout against Toombs County (Lyons, GA)
