The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) and the visiting Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), observed Anson's softball team notch a victory over Cheraw by a final score of 11-0.

The Bearcats (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, South Stanly was routed by Concord (Concord, NC), 6-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Braves battle the North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 21. Cheraw will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to McBee (McBee, SC).
