Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) and the host Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), saw Purnell Swett's baseball squad knock off Seventy-First by a count of 14-0.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, March 23. Purnell Swett will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 17-14 non-league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
