The Idalou Wildcats softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Abernathy Antelopes to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Idalou moves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 2 game on Saturday, March 25. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-4. Roosevelt lost 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Post (Post, TX)

In their next game, the Antelopes clash with the Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 game, on Saturday, April 1. Abernathy will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
