The Coronado Mustangs softball team (Lubbock, TX), was routed 14-4 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX)
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 test, on Friday, March 24. Abilene will attempt to improve on its 19-4 season record. The Pirates enter the test with a 8-3 record after their 17-0 league loss to Monterey (Lubbock, TX).
The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region I District 4 test with a 19-5 record. In their last test, Wylie prevailed over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 13-3, in a league test.
