In Thursday's non-league game, the host Eau Claire Shamrocks baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets.
The Shamrocks (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC). The War Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Wagener-Salley was overwhelmed by North (North, SC), 11-7, in a league game.
The Diamond Hornets (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region 5 game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Brookland-Cayce was overwhelmed by Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC), 7-4, in a non-league game.
