Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), 18-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Eau Claire upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Shamrocks host Keenan (Columbia, SC) to battle the Raiders in a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-0. Keenan won 15-11 in their recent non-league test against Lee Central (Bishopville, SC)

With the defeat, Lower Richland falls to 1-1 on the season. The Diamond hornets travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to battle the Indians in a 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-0.
