In Thursday's league test, the visiting Laney Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored a good 17-0 victory over the North Brunswick Scorpions.

The Buccaneers now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Brunswick for a Mideastern test on Tuesday, March 26. Laney will face a Cougars squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.

In their next game, the Scorpions face the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Tuesday, March 26. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 8-0 record after their 20-10 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
