The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) and the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), saw Ashley's lacrosse team top South Brunswick by a margin of 16-2.
The Screaming Eagle (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Athens Drive beat Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 12-4, in a league challenge.
The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Carolina Forest beat St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 10-8, in a league challenge.
