North Carolina High School Softball - Jack Britt topped by Gray's Creek

March 21, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28306

The Gray's Creek Bears softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Jack Britt Buccaneers to 1 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Gray's Creek moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Bears host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Colts in a United Eight 3A/4A game on Tuesday, March 26. The Colts come into the game with a record of 5-3. Cape Fear lost 6-2 in their recent league game against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

In their next game, the Buccaneers play the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 25. Jack Britt will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bucks come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 19-4 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC).
