North Carolina High School Softball - Gray's Creek bounces Jack Britt

April 23, 2024: Hope Mills, NC 28348

Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pine Forest for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Gray's Creek will face a Trojans squad coming off a 17-16 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Jack Britt falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host South View (Hope Mills, NC) to face the Tigers in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Friday, April 26. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. South View won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
