The Anthony Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Alpine Bucks to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Tornillo for a 3A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, March 25. Anthony will play a Coyotes team coming off a 9-7 league win over Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-11.
With the defeat, Alpine drops to 10-5 on the year. The Bucks travel to Presidio (Presidio, TX) to play the Blue Devils in a 3A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 2-10.
