The Randleman Tigers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Wheatmore Warriors to 6 in the Tigers league win on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Southwestern Randolph for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 25. Randleman will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-7 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Wheatmore drops to 3-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-4.
