In Friday's league outing, the visiting South Gwinnett Comets soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Newton Rams.
The Comets (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Warriors go into the 6A Region 4 outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Grovetown got by Rockdale County (Conyers, GA), 10-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Rams confront the Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 6A Region 4 outing, on Tuesday, March 25. Newton will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA).
