The Douglass Academy Lions lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the host Jamaica Beavers to 9 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eagle Academy II for a PSAL Championship challenge on Monday, March 24. Douglass Academy will clash with a Eagle squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to South Bronx Prep (Bronx, NY). The Eagle record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Jamaica falls to 0-3 on the year. The Beavers travel to Brooklyn Technical (Brooklyn, NY) to clash with the Engineers in a PSAL Championship challenge on Monday, March 24. The Engineers go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Brooklyn Technical won 17-6 in their recent league challenge against Bronx High School of Science (Bronx, NY)
