In Thursday's league challenge, the host Douglass Academy Lions lacrosse squad scored a good 17-1 triumph over the Jamaica Beavers.

The Lions (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Academy II (Brooklyn, NY). The Eagle go into the PSAL Championship challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Academy II was overwhelmed by South Bronx Prep (Bronx, NY), 13-6, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Beavers clash with the Brooklyn Technical Engineers (Brooklyn, NY) in a PSAL Championship challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Jamaica will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Engineers go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 12-6 league win over Bronx High School of Science (Bronx, NY).
