South Carolina High School Softball - Union County edges Mountain View Prep

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) and the visiting Mountain View Prep Stars (Spartanburg, SC), observed Union County's softball team get by Mountain View Prep by a tally of 5-3.

The Yellowjackets (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Centurions go into the non-league bout with a 3-7 record.

In their next game, the Stars clash with the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) in a AAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Mountain View Prep will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).
