The Mountain View Prep Stars softball squad (Spartanburg, SC), was routed 4-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC)

With the triumph, Union County improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Broome (Spartanburg, SC) to face the Centurions in a non-league contest on Friday, April 18. The Centurions enter the contest with a record of 4-14. Broome lost 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC)

The Stars now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Chapman for a AAA Region 3 contest on Thursday, April 17. Mountain View Prep will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
