New Mexico High School Softball - Rio Grande tipped by Valley

The Valley Vikings the visiting Rio Grande Ravens softball squad by a count of 13-11 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 19-3 non-league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).

The Ravens (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Del Norte by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 19-4, in a non-league challenge.
