With the win, Giles upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to battle the Maroons in a Mountain Empire test on Friday, March 25. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 1-2. George Wythe lost 18-3 in their recent league test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA)

With the defeat, Bland County falls to 0-3 on the season. The Bears host Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 24. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-2. Eastern Montgomery lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Grayson County (Independence, VA)
