The Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad (Hampstead, NC), 12-9 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC)

Coming up next, the Screaming Eagle confront the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Friday, March 25. Ashley will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 21-3 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).
