Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) and the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), witnessed R-S Central's softball squad tip Brevard by a count of 7-0.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brevard for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match on Friday, March 25. R-S Central will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 20-5 non-league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Brevard moves to 4-3 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, March 24. The Braves go into the match with a record of 1-4. Cherokee won 14-2 in their recent league match against Andrews (Andrews, NC)
