The Eastwood Troopers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Socorro Bulldogs to 3 in the Troopers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Eastwood improves its record to 22-4 on the year. The Troopers travel to Coronado (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a 6A Region I District 1 game on Friday, March 25. The Thunderbirds come into the game with a record of 6-17. Coronado won 22-9 in their recent league game against Franklin (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 game, on Friday, March 25. Socorro will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 3-13 record after their 5-4 league loss to Montwood (El Paso, TX).
