San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), 24-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a 4A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, March 25. San Elizario will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy (El Paso, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lobos host Clint (Clint, TX) to battle the Lions in a 4A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Clint won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Fabens (Fabens, TX)
