In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Ponderosa Bruins softball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Oakmont Vikings.

Coming up next, the Bruins battle the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 23. Ponderosa will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Wolfpack enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA).

The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers enter the Foothill Valley League outing with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, West Park by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 12-2, in a league contest.
