The Winfield Pirates crushed the visiting Lamar County Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 16-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hubbertville for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 23.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 25. Lamar County will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 9-7 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Sulligent (Sulligent, AL).
