The Blanco Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Comfort Bobcats/Deer to 1 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Blanco moves its record to 14-8 on the year. The Panthers host Florence (Florence, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, March 26. The Buffaloes come into the game with a record of 4-6. Florence lost 12-0 in their recent league game against Llano (Llano, TX)

In their next game, the Bobcats/Deer play the Ingram Moore Warriors (Ingram, TX) in a 3A Region I District 5 game, on Monday, March 25. Comfort will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 14-8 record after their 20-3 league win over Brady (Brady, TX).
