The Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) softball routed the visiting Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX), 11-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers (23-1) will now prepare for their bout against Tompkins (Katy, TX). The Falcons go into the 6A Region III District 19 bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Tompkins toppled Paetow (Katy, TX), 5-2, in a league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cinco Ranch for a 6A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, March 26. Katy Taylor will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Seven Lakes (Katy, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-10.
