Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Marauders now sport a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plano East for a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Monday, March 25. Marcus will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Plano falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Coppell (Coppell, TX) to face the Cowboys in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Monday, March 25. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 10-10. Coppell lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)
