The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas softball team (Pharr, TX), was routed 16-1 in Friday's league test with the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

Coming up next, the Sabercats encounter the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 test, on Tuesday, March 26. Vela will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the test with a 2-6 record after their 16-0 league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX).

The Javelinas (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Pharr, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 3-12 record.
