The Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) baseball trounced the visiting Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 17-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ripley for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. Cabell Midland will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Blazer drops to 1-1 on the year. The Tomcats host Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Lewis County lost 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY)
