In Saturday's league game, the host Ruston Bearcats baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Neville Tigers.
The Bearcats (18-6) will now prepare for their game against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA). The Flyers go into the non-league game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Loyola College Prep knocked off Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA), 10-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 24. Neville will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Dragons go into the game with a 6-9 record after their 15-0 league win over Vidalia (Vidalia, LA).
